Leonardo
Schools belonging to IKASLAN have been developing European programmes since 1993. Between 1993 and 1996, through the PETRA programme, nearly one hundred students from different professional branches had the opportunity to do internships in European Companies. Some of these students have eventually relocated to these countries.
In 1996, the programme became known as LEONARDO and we have participated in it from its initial stages. Currently we are taking part in the second stage of the programme, which will continue until 2006.
While the PETRA programme was in use, only four schools belonging to IKASLAN participated in it, but ever since IKASLAN began to act as an International Group, interest on the part of the schools has increased to the point that, currently, representatives from 25 schools meet weekly in order to prepare and develop projects linked to this programme.
